“Rock City Augsburg-Germany” is the hometown of SKIP ROCK. The band was formed in
2009 by guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Marc Terry, who besides having had some
different band  projects, also worked as co-producer and songwriter for Paul DiAnno (former
Iron Maiden frontman). SKIP ROCK´s formation was completed with Rico Galvagno and Willi
Wurm, both former band members of the well known bands Darkseed and Lacrimas
Profundere, and finally the young and talented guitarist Darius Dee. SKIP ROCK is out to
impress you with their own brand of Hard Rock, a mixture of 80`s sound presented in a
modern way for the new millennium.

In February 2009 SKIP ROCK have been on tour as official support for ERIC SINGER
PROJECT- with Eric Singer, Bruce Kulick, John Corabi and Chuck Garric on all German
shows. Skip Rock played in front of a big audience, and got positive feedback all over. The
scene press: "Skip Rock is playing straight, handmade hard rock, and did a great job on
stage." Also the EP “Rough and Ready” released in beginning 2009 got best reviews.
Andreas Schöwe of Metal Hammer Magazine wrote: "....rocked authentic, never set up and
recorded with professional sound ambience, simply great sleaze entertainment...."

In summer 2009, SKIP ROCK played on different festivals in Europe like Rock Head Festival
in Mainz Germany or Basinfirefest in Czech Republic in front of over 10.000 Head Bangers,
and really kicked ass. End of `09 SKIP ROCK was supporting Michael Schenker Group on
their only German Show in Augsburg, on the current European Tour and got amazing
feedback again.
Beginning 2010, Skip Rock supported CS/SC Chris Slade Steel Circle, Chris Slade (Former
AC/DC Drummer) and his all-star band with Keri Kelli, Robbie Crane , Leon Goewie and JJ
Bozzy.

Temporary, the band has finished the recording of the new album, and doing the mix down
and mastering in studio 6.0 in Munich with Partick Fleischer (producer for Darkseed,
Lacrimas Profundere and Emil Bulls a. o.) as sound engineer.
